BCS’s Maple and Suvar Top Girls’ A Race, Homestead and Carroll Top AAA Standings at New Haven

The New Haven Cross Country Invitational took place at Huntington University’s course on Saturday. It featured three girls’ races; the A Race, the AA Race, and the AAA Race.

Sarah Maple and Hannah Suvar from Blackhawk Christian took first and second respectively in the A Race. Maple finished with a time of 19:30.9. Suvar finished with a time of 19.4.

Homestead competed in the AAA Race. Even though they were without Addison Knoblauch, the Spartans finished first in the team standings. Lucy Kramer finished second place overall behind Huntington North’s Alice Friesen. Also, Caterina Perego took fifth overall.

Carroll finished second in the AAA team standings. They got top 10 finishes from Hadley Snell in fourth, Taylor Hansen in eighth, and Haile Schiffeneder in ninth.
