Bishop Dwenger won its fifth straight sectional title last year. Their defense returns captains Teddy Steele and Ashton Skarie as well as junior Christian Lozada and senior Ethan Pflueger.
Leading rusher KJ Tippmann has graduated after rushing for over 1,000 yards last year. This year the Saints could use a combination of running backs such as Teddy Steele, Trent Tippmann, and others.
Dwenger does have a starting quarterback picked out. Sam Campbell is the starter. He has experience as a receiver and a defensive back. Campbell has competed for the starting job in years prior, and so far, has been clicking well with the Saints’ receivers.
