Both teams will start junior quarterbacks. Jeff Becker has been the Chargers’ starter since the 2019 opener, and went on to emerge as one of the SAC’s top passers. Carson Clark became the Knights’ starter in last year’s rivalry game against Dwenger, a job he has kept ever since.
Both head coaches bring a great deal of experience to the table. Doug Dinan has led Carroll to eight winning seasons in ten years as well as three sectional titles. Kyle Lindsay has led Luers to two regional titles in his first seven years as a head coach.
