Legends Lean on Running Game, New Quarterback, and Solid Defense for 2022 Season

North Side football went 2-7 last year. But the Legends have worked hard to prepare for 2022. They bring back some key components from last year’s team, plus a few new additions.

Leading rushers Jontae Lambert and Dominick Malone return this year. Lambert rushed for over 117 yards per game. Malone averaged over 7 yards per carry.

Bishop Dwenger transfer Bohde Dickerson is expected to start at quarterback. He had some starting experience last year with the Saints. So far, he seems to be adjusting well to North Side’s scheme.

Bishop Luers transfer Da’Von Doughty also joins the Legends. He was one of Luers’ leading tacklers the last two years. North Side also returns leading pass-rusher Mitchell Vargovich, cornerback Michael Dye, junior lineman Da’Von Haney, and others.
