Just like at Sectionals, Gina Zirille finished first all-around and won all four events at the Huntington North Gymnastics Regional. But this time, she set a school record on the bars, posting a 9.8 score. The Spartans also won the first-place team trophy punching their ticket to state next Saturday. Jillian Wohlwend and Allison Sierks also had top six all-around finishes.
Carroll will also compete at State. The Chargers took third overall. Isabella Hoogland finished third all-around and also posted top-six finishes on the bars, vault and floor.
Dwenger did not advance as a team. But Ava Reed qualified for State on the vault, bars, and floor.
