Gina Zirille Cracks Top 10 in Three Events at State Gymnastics

Gina Zirille cracked the top ten on the vault, bars, and beam at the 2022 State Gymnastics meet at Ball State University. She finished seventh on the vault, tied for third on the bars, and took second on the beam. She also finished third in the all-around standings. Homestead went on to take second place in the team standings. Their score was 110.35.

The Carroll Chargers also made it to state. They finished ninth in the team standings. Isabella Hoogland had their best all-around finish at 13th.

While Bishop Dwenger did not compete as a team, Ava Reed represented the Saints. She cracked the top ten on the floor, where she took tenth place.

Crown Point took home the first-place team trophy, and Columbus North’s Emily Moore was the top all-around gymnast.
