Young Archers looking to get over the hump
South Side (7-16) honored its two seniors in Therray Sylvain and Cadell Wallace before the 57-53 loss to New Haven in a game they led most of the way. Freshman Jayvon Irby led the team with 19 points, sophomore Jarius Johnson had 12 and rounding out the double digit scorers was junior Demarcus Barr who had 11. The Archers have lost six straight games, but everyone has the same record when South takes on Wayne this Tuesday to open sectionals.
