Carroll and Snider Split Saturday Doubleheader at Hawley

Carroll and Snider played a doubleheader at Snider’s Hawley Field this Saturday.

Carroll jumped out ahead in Game One with a three-run first inning. Zavier Edgar tripled home Carter Irons, and Edgar himself scored on Eli Neuhouser’s sac-fly. The Chargers took Game One by a score of 8-4.

In Game Two, Snider rallied after being down 2-0 early in the game. Landen Fry’s RBI single in the third got the Panthers on the board. Noah Hess drove home the tying run with an RBI single in the sixth. And after doubling to leadoff the eighth, Isaiah Snavely scored the winning run, giving the Panthers a 3-2 walkoff win.

Carroll’s next game is Monday against Homestead. Snider’s next game is Tuesday against Wayne.
