Snider went into their game against Homestead last week tied at the top of the SAC standings. The Panthers rallied after trailing by six to start the second half. They went on to win 60-52.
The Panthers got a great team effort in their comeback. In the fourth quarter, Kyra Parker scored eight points, Jordyn Poole came up with two steals, and Nae Nae Donahue got a steal and drew a key offensive foul against the Spartans.
The win comes a week after Snider knocked off rival Northrop. The Spartans handed the Bruins their only loss so far in SAC play. Snider currently sits one game ahead of Northrop and Homestead in the conference standings.
Snider plays Concordia tonight at 6:00 pm. If the Panthers win, they will clinch at least a tie for the SAC championship. Their final conference game is January 26th against Carroll.
