Concordia Takes Second at Taylor Behind Vaughn Hendrickson’s Strong Finish, Homestead Takes Third

Concordia and Homestead both had good showings at the Taylor Cross Country Invitational in Upland, IN.

Early in the race, Zionsville’s Jack Turnbull jumped out in front, but Concordia’s Vaughn Hendrickson kept moving up toward first over the course of the race. Ultimately, Turnbull would win, but Hendrickson worked his way into second place. His Cadets took second in the team standings behind Zionsville.

Homestead finished third in the team standings. Their top finishers were Evan McMahon in fifth, Aiden Waugh in eleventh, Riley Lembke in 12th, Tyler Hess at 21st, and Joshua Rogers at 22nd.
