Chargers Sweep Panthers to Go 15-0

Published on

Carroll kept their unbeaten record intact on Saturday by sweeping Snider in a road doubleheader.

In Game 1, Carroll fell behind 2-1 in the third but got back-to-back two-run innings to go up 5-2. Three of those runs were driven in by Jaxon Sparks who also got the win on the mound.

In Game 2, Carroll jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first inning. Preston Haggard, Daniel Kir, and Andrew Sinish all came up with two-run hits in that inning. Thomas Tratnyek added a two-run single in the fourth inning. Though Snider’s Langston Leavell would hit his third home run of the season, Carroll would win 15-1.

It’s two more quality wins for Carroll; who has also beaten teams such as Northridge, Bishop Dwenger, and Columbia City.
