New Haven beat Huntington North last week 35-34 in the first round of sectionals. That follows up the Bulldogs’ 57-27 win against the Vikings in the last week of the regular season.
The passing game was one of the Bulldogs’ strengths. Jakar Williams threw for 316 yards and three touchdowns. Mylan Graham had 122 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Kamari Clopton had 89 yards and a touchdown. Gabe Nofziger had 50 yards.
New Haven advances farther than they did last year when they lost to South Side in the first round. This year they move on to the second round, where they will face Mississinewa.
