- SNIDER (10-1): Keeping the Panthers here for the duration of 2023, or at least until they falter.
- LEO (10-2): The Lions move up after last week’s 31-13 victory over BD. Keep going, furry cats.
- CARROLL (7-3): Have to drop Chargy one spot after sitting idle a week ago. Peeking ahead to ’24.
- BISHOP LUERS (9-3): The co-champs in the SAC finally looked worthy of a Class 2A run last week.
- HOMESTEAD (5-5): Sparty will likely stay around this spot, though HHS was one-and-done.
- EAST NOBLE (8-3): Graduation will take a few key guys, but the Knights will be solid again in ’24.
- ADAMS CENTRAL (12-0): The Flying Jets are literally on cruise control until Turkey Weekend.
- BISHOP DWENGER (6-6): The 2023 Saints had a disappointing season by BD standards.
- BLUFFTON (10-2): B-town claimed a sectional title in back-to-back years for the first time ever.
- WEST NOBLE (10-1): More than likely, I’ll keep the Chargers locked in at the 10th position.
CLASS 5A REGIONAL
SNIDER (10-1) at MISHAWAKA (9-2): Snider came storming back last year after falling behind bigly at Mish. Start strong, men.

LEO (10-2) at MISSISSINEWA (12-0): This is arguably Old Miss’ best team ever. Same could be said for Leo. I like the Lions.

BLUFFTON (10-2) at BISHOP LUERS (9-3): The host Knights have an edge with their aerial attack, and playing at home.

ADAMS CENTRAL (12-0) at CARROLL (12-0): Carroll’s Cougars are better than last year’s team that lost 35-zip to AC.

6A –– BEN DAVIS (10-1) at INDY CATHEDRAL (8-3): The Fighting Irish have allowed five points the past two weeks. Five, total.

5A –– VALPARAISO (9-2) at MERRILLVILLE (9-2): A rematch of last year’s regional, Valpo-M-ville is always a blast. Pirate party.

4A –– NEW PRAIRIE (10-2) at NORTHWOOD (10-2): The Panthers escaped last week at Northridge; tonight is another toughie.
SWAMI SAYS: NorthWood by 3
3A –– HERITAGE HILLS (11-1) at BATESVILLE (11-1): This one sure feels like a coin-flipper to me. Give me the host ‘Dogs.

2A … LaVILLE (11-1) at LAFAYETTE CC (9-3): The Knights have won eight straight after starting 1-3. CC by two scores.

1A … PARK TUDOR (12-0) at NORTH JUDSON (8-4): The Bluejays’ SOS is markedly more difficult than the Panthers’ slate.
