The New Haven Cross Country Invitational took place at Huntington University’s course on Saturday. It featured three boys’ races; the A Race, the AA Race, and the AAA Race.
Lakewood Park’s Zander Ritenour won the A Race with a time of 16:40.71. After initially falling behind Monroe Central’s Eli Chamberlain, Ritenour beat Chamberlain by under 11 seconds.
In the AAA Race, Westview’s Noah Bontrager was the winner with a time of 15:48.9. Goshen had the best team score at 74 points. But two Fort Wayne schools also had good outings. Homestead finished second with Aiden Waugh finishing fifth. Carroll finished third with Tyler Beuchel finishing 11th.
