Two days after Bishop Dwenger’s 6-5 win against Snider, the Saints and Panthers met again, this time at Snider’s Hawley Field. And once again, it was Dwenger who prevailed. The final score was 3-2.
The Panthers’ defense had a solid outing. But Saints’ pitchers Brayton Thomas and Brenden Lytle combined for nine strikeouts.
The win helps Dwenger cap off an undefeated conference regular season. The Saints finish SAC play at 14-0.
