Spartans Outlast Knights to Go 1-1
Homestead jumped out to a 5-1 lead over Bishop Luers, thanks in large part to a four-run first inning. Jake Goode finished 2-3 with an RBI, and Brady Minnick went 1-3 with 2 RBI’s. Luke Riha and Logan Tuttle also come up with a sac fly a piece. The Knights did claw back into the game. But the Spartans held them off for a 6-5 win. Homestead improves to 1-1. Luers falls to 1-1.
