Saints Sweep Cadets in Adventurous Double Dip

Bishop Dwenger played Concordia on Tuesday. But the game was called in the sixth inning with the score tied at six. So the Saints and Cadets finished the game the following Thursday.

On Tuesday Aslan Nolan came up with two hits for Dwenger, one of which led to a sacrifice fly by Brayton Thomas. On Thursday, Nolan came up with a sac fly that proved to be the difference in the game. The Saints won 8-7.

Dwenger played Concordia a second time on Thursday. The Saints won that one 10-0. They got 3 RBIs from Paul Baumgartner, 2 RBIs from Cruz Rolf, and one from Nolan.

Dwenger’s current record is 2-2. Concordia’s current record is 5-3.
