1. Carroll (3-0)

In Week 3, once again it was the Chargers showing why they are at the top of the SAC. Early on against North Side, the Chargers were a little sluggish as they trailed 14-7 with 10 minutes left in the 2nd quarter and the Legends were all the way in the red zone, but then it was the Carroll defense that got it going with a Jorge Valdes interception. After the interception the Chargers really got it rolling putting up 21 unanswered points to take a 28-14 lead early on in the 3rd quarter. The connection between Hansen Haffner and Jimmy Sullivan also looked dangerous this week connecting on two touchdowns both from 25+ yards out from the endzone. Defensively the Chargers once again looked phenomenal getting 3 interceptions and 9 TFLs.
2. Snider (2-1)
Week 3: 42-0 win over Concordia

Week 4: @ South Side
The Panthers got a dominant bounce-back win over Concordia in Week 3. The Panthers came out hot controlling the entire first half getting a 42-0 lead with just under 2 minutes left in the first half. De’Alcapon Veazy opened up the scoring with a rushing touchdown. Quarterback Luke Haupert threw 3 first half TDs to Lincoln Firks, Kedrell Billingsley, and Kamari Juarez. Haupert also rushed across the pylon from 28 yards out. Langston Leavell was also able to rush for two touchdowns. Defensively De’marreia Stephens, Austin Ganaway, and Lukas Rohrbacher all got interceptions. Next week the Panthers are going to be looking for another dominant victory as they face off against winless South Side.
3. Homestead (3-0)
Week 3: 24-16 win over Bishop Luers

Week 4: vs Bishop Dwenger
In Week 3 the Spartans were able to squeak out a close victory over the Bishop Luers Knights. The Spartans trailed 13-10 late in the third before Kam Johnson rushed in for two touchdowns to close out the win for the Spartans. Brett Fuchs was once again dominant for the Spartans this time in the passing game bringing in 8 catches and 133 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, the Spartans played a nice game including an interception from defensive end Jackson Christmon. Next week the Spartans have a big game against the Bishop Dwenger Saints.
4. North Side (1-2)
Week 3: 28-20 loss against Carroll

Week 4: vs Wayne
After losing another close game and this time against the Chargers the Legends fall to 1-2, but that record does not represent them accurately as they have lost to #1 and #2 on this week’s poll power by a combined 10 points. The Legends have also already proved their ability to win big games when they beat Bishop Dwenger in Week 2. Against Carroll, the Legends had lots of bright spots such as Brauntae Johnson’s huge performance with 6 receptions, 123 yards, and 1 TD. Jontae Lambert also made big plays with 148 total yards and a touchdown. Defensively, DaVon Doughty was a difference maker with 8 tackles, 4 TFLs, 1 sack, and 1 interception. Next week the Legends will look to get back to .500 as they face off against Wayne.
5. Bishop Dwenger (2-1)
Week 3: 42-18 win over South Side

Week 4: @ Homestead
The Saints had a dominant performance in a Week 3 win. Stellan Ruston was a big contributor with over 100 yards and a touchdown. The Saints’ defense was able to get three interceptions in the game two of which came from CJ Davis with the other from Max Carey. The Saints also racked up 11 TFLs and 3 sacks. As Bishop Dwenger moves forward they will face a difficult task the next two weeks as they face off against the two unbeatens left in the SAC, the Homestead Spartans, and Carroll Chargers.
6. Bishop Luers (1-2)
Week 3: 24-16 loss against Homestead

Week 4: @ Concordia
The Knights showed they can compete with the best of the SAC as they put the unbeaten Spartans to the test in Week 3. Mickey Daring had a big game on the ground as he rushed for 102 yards and a TD on just 14 carries. The Knights receiving core also played well as Nick Thompson, Brayden McInturf, and Isaac Zay all made big plays throughout the night. Zamarion Jackson and Nick Thompson led the defensive effort each with 10 tackles on the night. This coming week the Knights will look to bounce back against the Concordia Cadets.
7. Wayne (1-2)
Week 3: 31-14 win over Northrop

Week 4: @ North Side
Lamarion Nelson once again balled out this week with 242 yards and three touchdowns, including a play that was #1 on SportsCenter’s top ten plays from Friday. Just three weeks into the year Nelson already has multiple games with over 200 yards on the ground and at least one touchdown. As for the passing attack of the General offense, it began to find its way this week as Christian Trimble threw for 129 yards and a touchdown. Jacob Sharin was a big target for the General’s pass attack this week as he brought in 4 receptions for 88 yards and a TD. Mikelion Ragsdale led the Generals defensive effort with 10 tackles and 1.5 TFLs. The Generals will look to continue to build on this momentum as they face North Side next week.
8. Concordia (1-2)
Week 3: 42-0 loss against Snider

Week 4: vs Bishop Luers
The past two weeks the Cadets have been faced with two of the top teams in the SAC and they have struggled in those two weeks. Despite the struggles there are some bright spots like James Rusher’s 12 tkls and a TFL. Next week the Cadets will face off against the Bishop Luers Knights.
9. Northrop (1-2)
Week 3: 31-14 loss against Wayne

Week 4: vs Carroll
The Bruins battled against Wayne keeping it within single digits all the way till late in the 3rd quarter. Julante Hinton once again showed to be a goal force for the Bruins as he got his third rushing touchdown of the season as a full back for the Bruins. Next week, it does not get any easier as the Bruins are set to face off against the Carroll Chargers.
10. South Side (0-3)
Week 3: 42-18 loss against Dwenger

Week 4: vs Snider
The Archers faced the tough task of the Bishop Dwenger Saints in week 3. They were able to finish out strong, scoring the last 12 points of the game. During that strong finish, the Archers showed big play potential with a 39-yard passing touchdown between Cody Jenkins and Omarion Washington. Then the Archers running back Jeremy Irby took a carry 47 yards to the house. The Archers will look to build off of the strong finish as they face off against Snider this upcoming week.
