Lions Hunt for a Title
Leo will play in the Class 3A State Championship game on Saturday. The Lions are 24-4 and have won back-to-back sectional titles. Their run to State includes close wins over Bishop Luers, Northwood, and South Bend St. Joseph. They take on Silver Creek in the championship game. The Dragons are also 24-4 and won State back in 2019.
Leo is led by the likes of Blake Davison, DJ Allen, and Zack Troyer who are each scoring in double figures. Their head coach, Cary Cogdell, has led the Lions for 17 years and won 240 games in his career.
