Izaiah Steury Wins Boys State Meet/Carroll Girls Take Runner-up

Angola’s Izaiah Steury won the State Boys’ Cross Country Meet in Terre Haute on Saturday. His time was 15:23.7. Concordia’s boys’ team came in as the defending champions. Though they didn’t repeat as champions, the Cadets did finish eighth in the team standings. They cap off a year where they won six races.

Carroll’s girls’ team was looking for a third straight state championship. But instead, Carmel took the crown. The Chargers did get the runner up with Zoe Duffus and Ashlyn Minton each making the top 20.
