West Noble hosted the 51st Annual Chuck Schlemmer Memorial Cross Country tournament this morning. Goshen’s Drew Hogan won the boys’ race, but Concordia took first in the team standings. The Cadets have won four races in a row. Gabriel Connelly and Dan Adair finished fourth and 19th respectively. Homestead finished third in the team standings with Ethan Baitz finishing fifth.
A Spartan went on to take first in the girls’ race. Addison Knoblauch won with a time of 18:33:4, about 42 seconds ahead of runner-up Brooke Hansen from Carroll. But it was the Chargers who took first in the team standings. Their team score was 34, and they had four top 10 finishers.
