Blackhawk Christian Preps for Regionals
Defending state champion Blackhawk Christian beat Canterbury this past week to claim their third sectional title in a row. It was also the Braves’ sixth sectional title under head coach Marc Davidson. Now they have Saturday’s regional tournament in North Judson to look forward to. Blackhawk will take on Churubusco in the first round. If they win, they’ll play either Laville or Bowman.
Caleb Furst, Zane Burke, and Marcus Davidson provide plenty of offense. But the team has been solid on defense as well. They’ve only played seven games where they gave up 60 points or more.
