Brockhouse equaled a personal high with eight strikeouts in the win over No. 22 Maryland. He came out of the bullpen in a bases loaded jam in the fifth inning and did not allow a run. Brockhouse pitched the final 4.1 innings in the win over the Terrapins and only allowed on hit.

Muncie, Ind . – Fort Wayne was well represented on Tuesday as the Ball State (18-12) baseball team beat Xavier University 5-4 in a non-conference clash.
Northrop grad Colin Brockhouse started the game for the Cardinals. The sophomore gave up three hits and two runs in 2.2 innings pitched while striking out 5.
Canterbury grad Matt Kent pitched 3.0 inn. in relief for Xavier (10-19) in the 4th inn. with his team down 5-2. The freshman only gave up two hits in 11 batters faced. He had two strikeouts and one walk.
Teammate Andre Jernigan, a senior shortstop for the Musketeers and Homestead grad, finished the game 0-3 with a walk and two strikeouts. On the season he is batting .273 with eight home runs, 20 RBI and 30 runs scored.
