Bruins/Legends Meet Again in Sectionals

Northrop and North Side played an instant classic at Spuller Stadium in the regular season. Now they meet again in a Sectional matchup at Chambers Field. Northrop pulled out a 28-27 win last time around. But North Side followed that up with an overtime win against Concordia. Each team has had a bye week leading up to the game.

The team’s boast the top two rushers in the SAC in Northrop’s Damarius Cowen and North Side’s Jasuan Lambert. North Side’s Duce Taylor is the conference’s leading passer. And while Northrop’s Keone Bates is a sophomore, he has progressed as a starting quarterback since taking over against Concordia.
