Who or what has had the biggest impact on your athletic journey so far?
My father has had the biggest impact on my athletic career. Not just during my 4 years playing for him as the head coach of Snider, but for my entire football career my dad has been my role model and coach. He has had a huge impact on making me the player I am today but an even larger impact on making me the man I am today.
What’s your pregame routine or ritual that gets you locked in?
Every good game starts with a great day in school so I always make sure every Friday I bring it in the classroom and don’t walk out of any classes worrying about a test I took or homework. When it comes time for the game though I get locked on the bus ride over. At Snider we never truly get a home game, so every week we get on the bus and it’s silent the whole way there. I get time to play the game out in my head focusing on the things I need to do to be successful on that night.
What’s your proudest moment in sports — and why does it stand out?
My proudest moment by far has to be winning the state championship as a sophomore. I’ve been to every Snider game since 2007 and seen countless great teams come through the program, but to be apart of a State championship team and run out on to the field as a starter will always be unrivaled on my list of proud sports moments.
What are your goals — both short-term and long-term — in your sport or beyond?
My current goal that takes priority over everything else is being the best team we can be every week and eventually winning a conference and state championship. After football is over though I hope to pursue business in college.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you — on or off the field?
I am the current valedictorian of the class of 2026 at Snider High School.
