Churubusco’s Bryce Lawrence has a talent for fueling Busco with big-time plays. Last season, it was an 81-yard kickoff return that put the Eagles in front in the 24–12 win at Eastside. This past Friday, the senior safety did it again—scoring two defensive touchdowns. Lawrence scooped up a fumble and raced 70 yards to the house, then later snagged a 96-yard pick-six for Head Coach Paul Sade.
The Eagles held on for a gritty 19–14 victory over the Blazers, putting Busco in the driver’s seat for a shot at back-to-back conference championships. Check out the 5 to Know with Bryce Lawrence!
