Week 4 SAC Game Predictions

Homestead (3-0) at Bishop Dwenger (3-0)

Prediction: Dwenger wins 30-28

This game couldn’t have more on the line. The winner will be in great position to win the SAC, while the loser will experience their first setback this season. Homestead has leaders in passing and rushing, with QB Luke Goode (678 yds, 10 TDs, 0 Int) and RB Braeden Hardwick (411 yds, 7 TDs, 7.6 yds/car). Brenden Lytle (465 yds, 6 TDs, 1 Int) has been great as well for Dwenger at QB, and it helps that he has some elite wide receivers, such as Griffin Eifert (156 yds, 10 rec, 2 TDs), to help contribute. There’s a lot of similarities and it should be a fun game to watch. The Saints win a close game.

Northrop (2-1) at Carroll (2-1)

Prediction: Carroll wins 45-3

Northrop has won some close games over the last couple of weeks, but they’ll have to play mistake-free football to have a chance to beat Carroll. They certainly don’t want to give QB Jeff Becker (642 yds, 6 TDs, 2 Int) any more opportunities than they have to. Either way, Carroll should be able to take advantage of the Northrop defense and take care of business on defense as well.

Concordia (1-2) at Bishop Luers (1-2)

Prediction: Concordia wins 28-14

Concordia has an underrated offense. QB Brandon Davis has 456 yds and 5 TDs this year. RB Amir Drew has ran for 237 yds while averaging 5.2 a carry. WR Jalen Vanderbosch has been just as effective as he was expected to be with 197 yds and 2 TDs. This is a chance for Concordia to show of their offense against a Luers team that has struggled to put together a consistent offense this year. Concordia wins by two touchdowns.

South Side (0-3) at Snider (3-0)

Prediction: Snider wins 52-0

While South Side is still looking for their first win in over a year, Snider is looking to pad their record and move on without any issues. They do have some things to clean up on offense and they should be able to figure it out this week. RB Lenny Bennett for the Panthers is a player to watch in this game as he will likely see an increase in carries if Snider is up big, early in the game. Snider beats South Side in a blowout.

North Side (0-3) at Wayne (0-3)

Prediction: Wayne wins 27-10

One of these teams will finally be able to add a win to their record after this game. Ultimately, Wayne’s playmakers will be the difference. RB Keshaun Fields (275 yds, 5.2 yds/car, 3 TDs) on offense and Ronald Elliot III on defense are two players that give the Generals an edge over the Legends. Wayne gets their first win of the year, while North Side falls into an 0-4 hole.
