In their first season under Sherwood Haydock, Wayne put up a record of 2-9, a year after going 0-10 in 2019. The Generals bring back quarterback Aidan Meek, who enters his third straight year as a starter this year. Shawn Collins also returns. He was their second-leading rusher last year. Lamarion Nelson, rushed for over 1,000 yards in the JV season and also got some varsity experience.
The defense gave up 39 points per game last year. But they do return quality athletes such as Arthur Mhoon, Justin Alexander, Avant Rogers, and Tizelle Thomas.
